Playlista ceremoni otwarcia Igrzysk XXX Olimpiady w Londynie

Danny Boyle przygotował fantastyczną ceremonię otwarcia Igrzysk w Londynie, którą oglądały milardy ludzi na całej Ziemi. Jednym z elementów uroczystości było pokazanie muzycznego dorobku Wielkiej Brytanii. Jest on olbrzymi i fantastyczny. Szczególnie w muzyce pop i rock. W trakcie ceremoni widzowie mogli wysłuchać kilkudziesięciu wybranych przez Boyl'a utworów, które w wiekszości przentowane były we fragmentach. Szczególnie ryzkowna było dołaczenie do playlisty 'God Save the Queen' grupy Sex Pistols, ponieważ na trybunie honorowej siedziała Królowa Brytyjska Elżbieta II i przez wielu zostało to odczytane jako despekt uczyniony Królowej.

Niewątpliwie playlista będzie wydana na płytach dla uczczenia Igrzysk w Londynie.
